Open an incident as command

Opening an incident gives you a join code, a live board, and read-only feeds for TAK, ArcGIS and Google Earth.

  1. Open Track (open it) and choose to open an incident.
  2. Name it. SpikeCamp makes a six-character join code.
  3. Read the code out at briefing, or use Invite your crew on the board.

Opening an incident needs Crew billing or an agency license. If you see Set up Crew billing, set it up in Settings, then open the incident. Joining an incident with a code is free for everyone else. See Crew billing for what it costs.

Command seats are free. You set the report cadence (15 seconds to 10 minutes), the dropped-off threshold, and how long positions are kept (30 days unless you change it).
